By connecting to our website, authenticating through Discord, accessing the Optic CAD/MDT system, or joining our FiveM server, you enter into a binding agreement to abide by these Terms of Service.

Section 1

Eligibility & Accounts

Age minimums, Discord OAuth synchronization, and personal security.

1.1 Minimum Age Requirements

You must be at least 13 years of age to join North West Roleplay, in full compliance with Discord's Terms of Service and UK COPPA/GDPR age standards. By signing in, you confirm that you meet this minimum age requirement.

1.2 Account Accountability

You are solely responsible for safeguarding your linked Discord, Steam, and FiveM accounts. Any infraction, rule violation, or malicious action committed through your authenticated session will be held against your profile, regardless of whether it was committed by a friend, sibling, or unauthorized third party. Account sharing is strictly prohibited.

FiveM & Fair Use

Rockstar Games policy, Cfx.re compliance, and educational disclaimer.

Non-Commercial Entertainment & Fair Use Statement

North West Roleplay is an independent, non-profit community operating Grand Theft Auto V roleplay servers through Cfx.re (FiveM). We operate in strict compliance with Rockstar Games' commercial policy on roleplay servers and the Cfx.re Platform License Agreement (PLA).

We do not claim ownership of, represent, hold authority from, or maintain affiliation with any real-world government body, constabulary, fire and rescue service, or NHS foundation trust (including Greater Manchester Police, North West Ambulance Service, Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue Service, British Transport Police, Lancashire Constabulary, Lancashire Fire & Rescue Service, Cheshire Constabulary, Cheshire Fire & Rescue Service, Merseyside Police, Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service, Metropolitan Police, National Police Air Service, North West Air Ambulance, Counter Terrorism Policing North West, National Crime Agency, Bee Network, Network Rail, and National Highways). All emergency services depicted are purely for creative roleplay and entertainment purposes.

Section 3

Community Standards

Code of conduct, anti-harassment, and fair gameplay rules.

Our community operates on mutual respect and collaborative storytelling. The following behaviors result in immediate and permanent removal:

Zero Tolerance for Toxicity

Discrimination, racism, homophobia, transphobia, misogyny, bullying, doxxing, or personal threats against any player or staff member.

Cheats & Modifications

Use of external mod menus, injection tools, aim assists, exploit scripts, or disseminating malicious software to other members.

Real-World Trading (RWT)

Buying, selling, or bartering in-game currency, vehicles, ranks, or items for real-world money or external services.

Anti-Ban Evasion

Creating secondary accounts, utilizing VPNs/sproofers, or accessing alternate identities to circumvent server bans or warnings.

Section 4

CAD & Radio Conduct

Rules governing the Optic dispatch system, radio etiquette, and duty logging.

Access to the Optic CAD/MDT and integrated VoIP radio dispatcher is a roleplay privilege:

  • CAD Integrity: Falsifying arrest reports, deleting legitimate criminal records without roleplay cause, or "griefing" the 999 CAD queue is strictly prohibited.
  • Radio Discipline: Personnel transmitting on emergency dispatch channels must observe proper radio protocols, brevity codes, and avoid hot-miking, mic spamming, or playing non-roleplay audio.
  • Confidentiality: Information within the CAD/MDT (including civilian profiles, registered firearms, and investigative warrants) must not be meta-gamed or leaked outside authorized in-character contexts.
Section 5

Donations & Virtual Economy

Non-pay-to-win progression and strict no-refund policy.

North West Roleplay is built on merit and dedication. Service rank progression is time-based and skill-evaluated; progression cannot be bought.

Voluntary Contributions & Non-Refundability:

Any financial contributions made to the community are 100% voluntary donations used exclusively to fund dedicated server infrastructure, software licensing, anti-DDoS mitigation, and custom asset development.

All donations are final and non-refundable. Donations do not grant immunity from server rules. If you receive a disciplinary ban or removal, all donor perks are forfeited without reimbursement.

Section 6

Intellectual Property

Proprietary scripts, CAD software, and custom models.

All proprietary code, the Optic CAD/MDT web application, server scripts, custom vehicle liveries, EUP uniform textures, and visual community branding remain the exclusive intellectual property of the North West Roleplay development team.

You may not rip, copy, decompile, resell, or distribute any custom assets provided by our community. Third-party base game assets belong to Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive.

Section 7

Moderation & Appeals

Punishment tiers, staff discretion, and the appeal procedure.

Community staff and administration reserve the right to issue warnings, kicks, temporary suspensions, or permanent bans to safeguard community standards.

The Appeal Process:

If you believe a punishment was issued in error, you may file a formal appeal via the official Discord ticket system under "Disciplinary Appeal". Public arguments, spamming staff DMs, or retaliatory harassment will lead to immediate denial of appeals.
